Temps Mort – Mr.Echo & Jasper Rigole
Temps Mort is a LP that accompanies the release of the eponymous film and installation by Jasper Rigole. In the installation, a 16 mm film projector communicates with a record player in order to synchronize sound and image. Side A of the record contains the soundtrack for the film and is compiled from fragments of the BBC-soundlibrary which were used by amateur filmmakers to add sound to their silent films. Side B of the record is an interpretation of the soundtrack by Mr. Echo (Thomas Smetryns & Benne Dousselaere).
