Thirty-three years after its original publication, Editions Menard released a facsimile of the most renowned issue of National Geographic Magazine. The logic behind it is twofold, on the one hand we emphasize our appreciation for Pierre Menard, who wrote an exact copy of his Don Quixote more than three hundred years after Cervantes. On the other hand, we would like to invite our readers to reread this magazine from a contemporary perspective. We kept the original price and decided not to deviate from the original in both size and binding, thus ensuring an almost indistinguishable copy.
