330 COLORS – Marthe Coolens
330 COLORS is a selection of anonymous digital images that Marthe Coolens collected on her computer throughout 2016. She calculated the average color of each of these images and arranged them based on their saturation and brightness. Unlike the RAL color standard, 330 COLORS represent a seemingly random yet intimate color palette. Hexadecimal color codes typical for webdesign were used for the encoding and serve as a reference to the origin of the images.
Editions Menard N°14
2019, edition of 40.
60 x 180 x 27mm, 75 pages
